Yes you are seeing a whole new Bren, one that is not going to be manipulated and one that is in charge of this set up whether certain people like it or not. I am sorry it has come to this Graeme but you are being totally unfair and biased towards Pat and I will not accept that. Pat is honest, loyal and what you see is what you get, and I would prefer to work with Pat any day of the week than work with someone like Jan and her friends who are liars, cheats and deceivers. To read on the forum that you and Marian were leaving was the final straw. All I have ever asked for is honesty and transparency but today I realised that I would not be getting that. Pat has done nobody any wrong, her only failing was to speak up for those that have been frightened to or for those that she could see were being manipulated, she does not deserve this treatment and I will not stand back and see her treated like this again. We knew damn well Jan would probably try and get to you like she got to the other mods but hey that is your perogative if you wish to believe her I can not force anybody to believe me or the other mods, even though we are speaking the truth. You do not not know what mind games have been played on each and everyone of us. Just cast your mind back to when Pat first joined us, she was NEVER like this, but those that had an ulterior motive have hurt her more than anyone can imagine. They have instilled on other mods that Pat is a monster and there is no way that Pat is that and I will not have that said to her. Because you don't know how much my head was screwed and you don't know how much she worked to help me out, even after what I had done to her and how she held things altogether for me and most importantly for this forum so Maddie can have a voice. And for that I will be enternally grateful to Pat for.

I just logged into the 3A's and noticed that you had reported a post by DrachenSachen. Was his/her removal of the offensive picture (which I didn't see, sorry) a satisfactory resolution. I noticed that Drachen also apologized but am a bit at a loss to know how bad the image was as it is now *gone*. The report remains open - as a new mod I'm really not sure what I'm doing quite yet and am going to check with one of the others to know whether DS is now warned over the offensive post, or exactly how this is handled.

Mainly, I just want to know at the moment if you are OK with the way the thread stands until someone walks me through the steps to take care of your report.

All the oldtimers (mods) are sleeping apparently (how dare they??) but I'm West Coast USA so it is not QUITE bedtime here yet.

Anyway, back to the topic - are you satisfied with DS's response to your complaint about the offensive post?

Who the HELL does this woman think she is? I am so sick of seeing her avatar rudely sticking her tougue out at posters, and I consider her posts to be entirely out of line.

She apparently has the attitude displayed by her avatar, and you know what? This topic - JUSTICE FOR MADELEINE is a bit too serious for some sassy little power freak to moderate, apparently.

Her post in reply to mine claimed the topic that was frozen had been gone over too many times. Well, maybe she can learn to read because it was an entirely NEW line of discussion. Who the hell does she think she is? Do you expect your mods to read the forum posts before barging in and censoring users? I am furious.

Thanks for your message and especially for taking the time to write it all down. Sounds like a big can of worms to me, and good that the rotten apple has gone.

I know it's easy for me to say try and say positive, but please try and think that you've had a lucky escape. I'm sorry that your personal info was revealed.

What made me so angry today was the fact that Beowolf opened the thread which would obviously instill panic and questions then just departed and left us all to it. If he had something cryptic to say, he should have made his post and locked the thread.

As it was, the thread descended into panic, nobody knew what was going on - it's really difficult when you're on the outside trying to make sense of things.

Despite repeated pleas that the thread be locked as it was going nowhere, the thread grew and grew and the pleas were ignored.

That's what made me angry and the fact that Beowolf basically dropped the lot of us in it.

Anyway, I think I need some time away. I know that people are paranoid, everybody's anonymous on the internet but I'd just like to reiterate that I don't know Janz and have never heard from her, her cronies or her forum. This is my decision - me, I'm just a Mum who has loved it on the 3As and today is a really sad day for me.

I hope you understand.

You seem like a sensible mod... Laffin Assassin was always guilty of opening pointless threads and clogging up the front page with things that people barely responded to. Now he has the DVD he is going to be unstoppable. He already has 4 threads going...I know its not a newsworthy day but if it was threads would be pushed down with the likes of his "Angela Morado" thread. So McCann called a UK official on his mobile. So what? I think that something should be done to organize this poster or he will innondate the board with crap.

Just to give you a bit of insight re. mod fallout. Perrito thought the other mods were ganging up against her then some mod war broke in mod mansion and bjr had to take a decision. Her decision did not agree to well the some mods and they left en masse (Janz1956, 1st1976, bigmummy, librarising, sina, ismellarat, and don't know who else.) It seems bjr did some digging around and now thinks Janz1956 had something to do with the split up between herself and Nbrado. I do believe bjr over reacted to Nbrado allowing DeBunker back and she took the wrong decision when the mods (Janz1956 being one of them) that threatened to walk out if DeBunker was allowed back on.

Perrito asked for her account to be deleted -- completely. A week or so later she returned and her mod status - with zero post count - was reinstated.

If I were you I wouldn't worry about any of the forum politics. We are here to find out about Madeleine McCann and we can so easily be diverted with forum politics. I do see that bjr is trying her level best to keep this forum going and whilst she tries her best I feel she needs out support. Despite her clumsiness and sometimes hasty or stupid decisions.

My position about this fellow appears to be exactly the same as yours.

I have also looked at the CV which I think came originally from his own blog and found nothing to corroborate it at all.

I am very suspicious of him, of his M**** Government links and his lack of traceable jounalistic history.

I may be wholly wrong about him but am unwilling to blindly trust him in exactly the same I never placed any faith in CW.

He is clearly linked to L*** and I have heard (nothing confirmed) that L*** is friendly with Clarence Mitchell. I see R*** was pro McCann in his early days.

Something seems wrong and I, like you will keep digging.
