Diseased Minds

In this study we will be researching the diseased and hate addled minds of the 3Arguidos.net website.
A website dedicated to trashing the parents of a missing child.
The mods and admin have promised their members privacy but readily give out information on anyone who is seen as a threat to the official line. And if that doesn't interest you, the backstabbing is excellent, bested only by some of the very interesting adventures enjoyed by various and sundry on other sites. How the worm turns!

Respected Members, technically; Respectable members, not so much. If you're normal.

(to and from redacted because it's the thought that counts)

really there's nothing there I could get offended at, you come across fine. I've 'put my foot in it' a lot, even though I think I'm sensitive I have come out with dreadful things that have reduced friends to tears...

My previous marriage failed, with my ex-husband saying he couldn't stand my not having friends; it wasn't 'normal'. I did have some - well, a few - friends when we met but he made it clear he didn't like them. One of the things that caused us to split up was his refusal to have children... he said I couldn't even look after myself properly. I was literally desparate to have children; scared I might take someone's baby at my worst times. Luckily I met another man who, like me, finds making and keeping friends difficult so that in itself is a kind of kinship plus we're similar on other levels, both artistic, not too confident. His mother gave him up for adoption when he was a baby. I find I usually bond more with people who've had difficulties in life. He is a fantastic Dad, particularly given his hard start in life and he is tireless doing stuff with our kids and definitely still a child at heart. I will try and get my hubby to read your post (he dislikes reading) as I can never explain things clearly to him in a way he responds to as far as AS is concerned. He says everyone has something 'wrong with' them and to just get on with it. I will have to keep introducing little relevant snippets I find out in the hope I can chip away at him. I will order the book you recommend about bullying. (Redacted. After the previous, you don't want to know.) Sorry to ramble on so. I had loads of spam pms today so was really pleased to get yours with all the sound advice.

(People like this are among those presuming to judge others as part of the 3Arguidos pursuit of "justice". Based on what? Their own personal superiority and the frenzied, disproven, discredited ramblings on a hate site?)

The Lady's Not for Turning... Up

Chimaera writes:

Before we left W******** to travel to the Union, my friend (who was to sign me in) telephoned the Union to find out how busy it was likely to be. She was told that it was "embarrassingly unpopular" with only 10 confirmed bookings (this was around 7pm) and that it was too late to cancel, although it "could yet happen". We decided to give it a miss, I'm afraid.

We are both getting on a bit and not really up to protesting any more, although you do, of course, have our full support in what you have achieved.

Kind regards

To the rescue...

Erskine what has Laffin been PM'ing, I can only help if people keep me abreast of what is going on. I know a lot is going on behind the scenes and we are getting bits and pieces and not the whole story and it is so hard to try and piece it together.

Posters are being attacked via PM and then just like you have done, say please remove me and don't let us know. That makes it so hard for us to deal with the situation. If someone is bullying someone on here and things are happening, the troublemaker needs to be removed. IMO it does not matter if they have been here from day one or made thousands of posts, troublemakers drive good posters away and that is something that I am not prepared to accept.

I can only help this forum if they tell me exactly what is going on.

Regards

Bren

"these fantasists are dragging the credibility of the "anti" McCanns down badly."

Subject: Credibility Rating

quote ******: Grimly this is being discussed in enough threads already not to warrant another one. locked.

Fair does. But I think you should name and shame posters who just make things up. I want justice for Madeleine... these fantasists are dragging the credibility of the "anti" McCanns down badly.

Speaks for itself

Re: Interesting

Thanks Kazlux if you can tell me whether it was the HTFM or the Pro Madeleine Boards I would be happy and I will say I received it anonymously in my e-mail account.

Who does Photon trust?

Hi Laffin

Bren, ****** (they "interviewed" me - and in mod box we use our own names, but as V****** is longish I suggested Val), so "older mods" might also know (including ex-mods). There's been nothing up till now - if Janz (or one of the others) did give my IP to A**y (after I asked for sheepshagger to be removed) I don't think they also told him about V****** - he's never used it (and he could have done when he posted my work place and IP address that time)

Full name and work address is also known by Tony Bennett and JJP - and I trust both of them almost as much as I trust you (my instincts have been pretty good up to now).

Google search for v******, university of liverpool only gives me 2 hits out of 10 on first page. I've never talked about work (including where I work) in mod box - so Pat's reference (in a recent chat) to uni will have been through IP address We're all very good with IP addresses (sad, isn't it!).

My suspicion is that this post will be from P*** - either herself or manipulating S*****.

Bren has already made enquiries with a solicitor re the pissingonparade stuff - doesn't look good.

We'll see - not planning any sleepless nights yet, and at least there's a V***** S******at Liverpool uni :D

Best wishes

Hi Laffin

Sorry for filling you inbox. Am composing a post for for the blog giving background to Sassy - basically your harassment by Andy etc. It will start off with this OP from thread in Mods (which he also sent you as PM). Is there anything else you'd be happy to give me which he sent you, to show the more "violent" side of him? Will not mention you as the source of any information. Will let you see before posted.

Have also just received the Bizarre Behaviour thread from PFA members only - where I you're discussed (as are some others). Do you want me to e-mail if to you (13 pages)?

Best wishes

Hi Steve

You are being set up. There is a thread on this site (Pro site) have a read. Venus is j***** and she is on there wondering if you took emails when you were admin here. Just thought I would warn you

Here is the link

http://www.profenceanti.com/forum/viewt ... f=11&t=502

Anyway it's up to you if you want to go after them. But it smells of a pro trick. J***** has been on that site since November and now shows up shouting off.

Will leave it with you.

Bren

P.S. Worth trying to infiltrate they have a forum that is away from public viewing all about 3a's and last time before the bannings came there were threads about Tony on there.

What, me worry?!?!

Hi **** Here's the other link I was looking for: ...... Liability of hosts Website hosts may be liable for defamatory material created by someone else but which they host. However, there are special defences available to hosts under the Defamation Act 1996 and the E-commerce Regulations. Under the Defamation Act 1996, a website host will have a defence to a claim for libel if he can show that (i) he was not the author, editor or publisher of the statement complained of, (ii) he took reasonable care in relation to its publication, and (iii) he did not know and had no reason to believe that what he did caused or contributed to the publication of the defamatory statement. The defence under the E-commerce Regulations is expressed in similar terms. In order to have the best chance of taking advantage of these defences, a host should not as a matter of course monitor/edit the content of websites that it hosts; however as soon as the host becomes aware of potentially defamatory content, that content should be quickly removed. You'll notice the phrase reasonable care in relation to ... publication. This is a very vague description of care, and thus is a very tricky thing to maintain you did in court because it's open to much interpretation.... D*****
