But if Admin thought i was being insulting to an axe murderer and therefore breaking forum rules - well the world is really upsidedown and astonishing priorities imo. Deleting posts to protect a murderer just makes no moral sense to me.

Hi, Thanks Kazlux I won't tell anybody this, I have tried to register but they want an e-mail first etc. explaining why you want to join and then they will view your application and decide whether to go ahead and activate or delete.

Yesterday I just clicked on Register and went through the procedure, got the e-mail to click the activate link and that told me my account is up for being considertion. Then I went back a few hours later and they had not activated the account and deleted it. The only way in is via this e-mail being sent first and then registering.

Which gives me great concern, I am personally wondering if this is being used as a front for something other than finding Madeleine. I might be totally wrong, but I wonder if this is were the mass of troll attacks are being organised from.

After the last few days of all the threads being locked or deleted on HTFM on the DM I am going to bide my time and devise a good cover and go through the e-mail way and then register.

But whatever is going on makes me think it is not good for Finding Madeleine.

If people can't just register and offer a little help, without having to give so many personal details out, then that IMO is bad.

Anyway I will wait for the dust to settle and give them time (HTFM) not to be so paranoid and I will try to get in the other way.

I can assure you that I won't be going in to cause trouble, because that does not help Madeleine in the slightest, but I do want to know what Team McCann are up to with this clock and dagger forum.

Who would like their port scanned by Drachen....

I will personally keep and eye out for that IP address in future. Port scanning the IP address can be a good way of identifying the person if they have not taken suitable security protection such as a firewall. However. I would not recommend it as it port scanning is frowned upon by most ISP's and you could end up getting your Internet connection pulled. Normally if the ISP suspect you have been port scanning they usually issue you with a gentle warning first as some programs can port scan without the knowledge of the person in question. Hope this helps.

Those of you who have had run ins with Drachen might want to check your firewall logs for port scanning from an NTL ip from Scunthorpe and report it to NTL/Virgin. It is certainly against their TOS.

Please read this thread PJ & Portuguese Prosecuter; Portuguese Government Corrupt? - what some posters are writing there goes beyond speculation, and it's defamation and innuendo against Prosecutors and more, as you probably know the PJ and others (the pinks) are very aware of the Forum - I do not think the members attacking the Prosecutors should be allowed to go on with that thread. But obviously is up to you and I will abide your decision.

You sound a lot like me with your moans and grumbles on the train..thats the sort of thing i do on a daily basis. I use the sainsburys petrol station by me and all the staff are Asian. When you go in they are jib jabbering in Hindu/Urdu or whatever and just stick out ther hand for your money....i'm always as akward as possible, like asking to look at something on the shelf behind them (batteries or whatever). One time i asked for baccy and a receipt and when the woman never gave it to me i asked again in an irrtated voice, she said "i never heard you"; so i said "yeah you was too busy chatting to your mate"; so she said "i was talking about work"; so i said "well i couldn't understand a damn word you were saying so how the hell do i know what you were talking about" & low and behold the olde racist card was produced. I asked for the manager and in my most pleasant tone explained how rude it is for staff to be conversing with each other whilst serving customers, i the told him its even worst when the chat is not in English, and that i found that exceptionally rude.; The staff hate me in there, but it really fcuks me off.
